Purchasing Support Administrator
Based: Samlesbury
Hybrid – onsite 3-4 days per week
Contract: 6 Months
£21.38 Per hour PAYE or £27.79 Umbrella inside IR35
The Job:
* Issue RFQs to suppliers and upload quotes.
* Attend meetings with internal customers to report on RFQ progress.
* Raise purchase orders and issue order books to suppliers.
* Ensure supplier information is up-to-date and manage multiple customer and supplier inquiries.
* Regularly attend order book calls with suppliers.
* Follow processes, maintain attention to detail, and adapt to customer requirements
Experience
* Strong communication skills with a diligent approach to data input.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet clear deadlines.
* Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think creatively to resolve issues.
* Adaptable, organised, and proficient in Excel and ERP systems.
* A background in purchasing is advantageous.
* Customer-focused with strong attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
