SEMH Teaching Assistant Location: Barking & Dagenham Position: SEMH Teaching Assistant Employment Type: Full Time Start Date: ASAP Salary: Competitive, based on experience About Us: We are working with a large and friendly primary school in Dagenham that is looking for a SEMH Teaching Assistant. The school is looking for a proactive and experienced SEMH Teaching Assistant to support SEN pupil, with specific SEMH needs. The successful individual will need experience in supporting pupils with SEMH and have a calm persona. Key Responsibilities: Support the class teacher where required. Support SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities. Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
