We have a fabulous opportunity to support a young man in his own home in Westfield, Radstock. Could you be the new support worker to complete J’s team?
J is in his late 20s and has made significant progress since living in his own home. He is an engaging, sociable young man with autism, a learning disability, and sensory processing needs, who enjoys a busy life. J loves walking and meeting the many people he knows in the local area for a friendly ‘hello’. He is fun-loving, has a great sense of humor, and really enjoys the time he spends with his support team, who enable him to live a full and active life.
Every day will be different and rewarding, as you encourage and empower J to be actively engaged in each aspect of his life – this will include accompanying him to favorite activities as well as supporting the continuing development of his daily living skills.
J has a very close relationship with his parents, who work closely and warmly with his support team. You will be welcomed by J’s established and close-knit support team, alongside an experienced and passionate manager, who takes the time to get to know and invest in each of her team members. This really is a dream job where you will see, every day, just how much difference truly person-centered support can make to J’s life.
At Dimensions, we believe it is who you are as a person – and the difference you can bring to the lives of the people you will be supporting – that is more important than experience. Whether you are new to support work or have supported people previously, we want to hear from you! We will give you all the training you need to become an amazing support worker for the people you will be working with. You will find no other role more personally fulfilling and professionally rewarding than becoming a Support Worker with Dimensions.
