Responsible for IT Security & IT risk management in line with regional best practices and local regulations Support the Chief Digital Information Officer in the development and delivery of IT strategy Support and run the IT Platforms in P2U Corporate responsibility for a range of Information policies and service development, this includes preparing policies and procedures for the department as required, ensuring robust Corporate Governance and that internal controls are in place Deputise as required for the Chief Information Officer Help develop the Team's strategic direction, and contribute to the overall leadership, direction and management of the Team Provide exemplar technical and professional support on a wide range of information, technology and data legislation, with a focus on high quality technology solutions Lead on the management and negotiation of contracts with system suppliers Provide expert strategic advice, strong professional business and operational support to corporate functions, particularly in-service planning, and in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services Monitor the performance and utilisation of Digital Platforms and Information systems and support the introduction of remedial steps where necessary Own any remediation plans Design and track alerting and monitoring across all Platforms and take ownership for any remediation or Service Improvement Plans Prepare and present reports and papers, including board papers Perform any other duties commensurate with the grade of post as delegated by the Chief Information Officer Lead the integration and delivery of local and organisation wide initiatives Provide exemplar technical and professional support to directors and senior management on a wide of complex information systems Develop the leadership potential of all staff Who are we looking for? Technical background with astute business communication skills Previous experience in a leadership role within a technology function that delivers complex digital and technology services to a global business The ability to develop and deliver a technology strategy that aligns with a business strategy Experience of leading on M&A and integration activity Managing technical resources and bridging technical/non-technical gaps An understanding of core IT policies, standards and processes and their importance in delivering a good service to the business Stakeholder management across the organisation and within a global function. An understanding budgets and business planning Knowledge of GDPR and data governance standards What happens next?
