GSU has 44 beds, 4 of which are enhanced care beds. GSU delivers pre, and post operative care to patients with upper and lower GI conditions. The ward has a high acuity so experience in clinical skills is essential. The Surgical assessment has 13 trolleys 6 chairs for emergency surgical admissions and emergency ambulatory care. The successful candidate should be an experienced Band 6 or equivalent in an acute environment. We are seeking applications from highly motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic individuals who have excellent communication skills. This post will give an opportunity for further professional development, and to embrace the challenge of working in a fast-paced and diverse environment.
