Sales Account Manager £30,000 - £40,000 DOE Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm (flexible with early or later start time) Our client is looking for a passionate and motivated Sales Account Manager to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities You'll wear many hats, but here are your main duties: Customer Liaison (50%) - Regularly engage with customers to understand their needs and offer expert guidance on suitable products. Your goal is to build strong relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. Product Quoting (20%) - Work closely with the Engineering team to gather costing information and prepare accurate product quotes for customers. Product Sourcing & Communication (10%) - Identify products within their range to meet customer needs and communicate with the purchasing team when products are unavailable. New Business Development (10%) - Proactively market and seek out new potential customers within pre-agreed business segments. Other Duties (10%) - Be ready to take on various tasks as assigned, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of the sales process. What You'll Bring to the Table Education: Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths. Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a Sales Account Manager role, with a proven track record in sales, negotiating, and relationship-building. Skills: Strong client-facing skills, consultative sales approach, proposal preparation, and effective presentation techniques. Driving License: A full, clean driving license is required.
