About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver water infrastructure projects in the Thames Valley region. This role will focus on overseeing the successful execution of infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with contractual, financial, and regulatory requirements while driving efficiency and high-quality project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of water infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
Manage project planning, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and financial controls.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Oversee contractors and suppliers, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.
Provide regular progress reports and liaise with key stakeholders, including Thames Water and regulatory bodies.
Identify and mitigate potential risks while maintaining project quality and performance.
Requirements:
Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects, ideally within the water, utilities, or civil engineering sectors.
Strong understanding of NEC contracts and project governance within regulated industries.
Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience working with water utilities or similar clients.
Ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and coordinate contractors effectively.
Strong financial and commercial acumen, ensuring project viability and cost control
