Risk & Regulation The Risk & Regulation team, part of Workforce, has over 250 members and is rapidly growing. You'll advise clients on Reward, Executive Compensation, Remuneration Regulation, Employee Performance, Pay Governance, and related tax/financial matters. With an increased focus on corporate reputation, executive pay, performance-based pay, governance, cost control, and compliance with global regulations, our clients constantly need our assistance. Programme During this three-day paid programme you’ll get an insight into what a career at PwC could look like. You will need to be in the UK to complete this programme. What you'll do In the Risk and Regulation team, you’ll draw on your problem-solving skills to advise clients in this complex and challenging area. Specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to: - advising and working closely with clients on all aspects of reward strategy, from design through to detailed implementation for executives and the wider workforce - reviewing company executive compensation disclosure, governance and reporting against the requirements to support with compliance - researching and preparing reports, guidance and advice for HR contacts, remuneration committees, tax, finance and payroll departments and employees. These reports and guidance will be centered around legal, tax and regulatory guidelines of pay, benchmarking, and specific elements of the remuneration packages such as bonus and share incentives etc - providing research and data on market practice in various aspects of pay to support companies' decisions. These may include executive pay benchmarking, incentive plan design, global operation, taxation and accounting. What you'll gain By completing the programme, you'll have the opportunity to be considered for a subsequent Summer Internship 2026 role in the location and business area which you've done the programme. Many of our summer internship participants go on to receive graduate role offers. Current graduates in this business area are studying to become a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) or the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS)., but this may be subject to change in future years. What you'll need You'll need to be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study. You'll need to be a first year undergraduate university student on a three-year degree course; or You'll need to be a second year undergraduate university students on a four-year degree course.
