Salary: £28,000 - £30,000 p/a
Location: Basingstoke
Working Hours: Flexible working hours: 40-hour workweek, early Friday finish at 3:30 PM (standard hours: 8:15 AM 5:00 PM with a 45-minute lunch break).

The Technician Role: As a Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for testing, adjusting, and maintaining instruments to ensure they meet required standards. Working within a specialized calibration laboratory, you will handle both mechanical and electrical equipment. While calibration will be your primary focus, you may also perform minor repairs when necessary.
This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to follow established calibration procedures. You will work closely with a team of professionals, ensuring that all instruments are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities of the Technician: Performing calibrations on various mechanical and electrical instruments, including pressure measurement devices.
Ensuring all instruments remain within calibration standards.
Using bespoke calibration software to conduct and document calibrations.
Carrying out minor repairs on faulty instruments where possible (e.g., leaks in valves or power supply issues).
