Driver's license is a requirement for this role due to service user needs.
We help all different types of people with a range of physical & learning difficulties and other complex needs, who are looking for support with everyday tasks but still want to live independent lives. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or Healthcare Assistant working with sensory impairments.
You must be able to work the required rota; for example, you will need to work our 18-hour day contract - shifts from 2pm to 8pm every other Tuesday must be worked and 8am to 2pm every other Sunday is also a requirement. We are a 365-day-a-year service that includes weekends and holiday periods such as Easter and Christmas. You would also be required to go away with our service user to support on their holidays. The ideal candidate will be confident and happy to undertake the following activities: bike riding, horse riding, swimming (they will be required to get in the water and swim), trampolining, and canoeing.
