This company are currently operating supported housing services for rehabilitating ex-offenders that have left a prison setting. The service ensures the instilling of independent living skills, positive wellbeing and personal development within ex-offenders, working towards their bettering of life and prevention of repeat offending.
The Opportunities:
Intensive Housing Management Workers will be working full-time; 35 Hours – Monday to Friday 9-5, 1 hour unpaid lunch
Competitive pay rates; Housing Management Workers are paid £17.69 (Umbrella), per hour. You will also be paid £0.45 per mile for travel between services.
Contract length will be 3-months.

The Responsibilities:
As an Intensive Housing Management Worker, you will be working as part of a team, managing a portfolio of properties and tenancies across a designated area, providing an intensive Housing Management Service to a core group of people. The Requirements:
Directly supporting tenants to manage their tenancy, assisting them with housing benefit claims and signposting them to relevant support services and liaising with support services where required.
Conducting initial and regular assessments of the potential or actual service user including any risks, their needs, and requirements in respect of the service, to determine eligibility for the service taking necessary action where required are delivered.
Working with the Housing Management Team to ensure the correct tenancies are issued, sign up new tenancies and ensure the service user understands and accepts tenancy obligations.
Be involved in ordering furniture and goods for the property
Work closely with the Asset Management team on ensuring property standards are maintained, repairs are reported in a timely way and ensuring the properties are suitable for letting and safe occupation.
Maximise rent collection and adhere to the arrears management policy and procedure.
Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS (Adults & Children)
Proactive and able to use their initiative to manage a caseload.
Previous experience or knowledge of social/supported housing processes is essential.
The ability to support others in their tenancy sustainment and income management.
