Are you passionate about mental health and technology? Join Devon Partnership NHS Trust and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare services across Devon and the Southwest. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our Testing Team. In collaboration with our business analysis experts and wider Digital department, you will ensure best practice is embedded across all activities, ensuring digital and technology services are delivered effectively and efficiently to support the Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step into a Testing role. If you have an eye for detail, a background in business analysis, testing, or experience in clinical administration, this could be the perfect next step for you. If you're eager to improve processes and collaborate with teams to drive innovation in clinical and non-clinical systems, we want to hear from you. As part of our Digital, Data, and Technology department, you will help ensure the safe development, implementation, and operation of vital applications, including Electronic Health and Care Records, Virtual Consultation platforms, and other business applications. Your work will be fundamental to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective care across the Trust.
As a Test Analyst, you will play a key role within the Digital department, supporting the delivery of new and improved systems and services across the Trust. You will ensure that testing activities align with organizational policies and best practices, tailored to the criticality and risks of each solution. Key responsibilities include:
* Engaging with user representatives for User Assurance Testing, ensuring that business processes are accurately reflected in system functionality.
* Collaborating with vendors, users, and stakeholders to identify and resolve test issues, influencing vendor roadmaps where needed.
* Supporting clinical safety officers, business analysts, project managers, and other key figures in addressing complex, novel issues across the organization.
* Designing and executing software and hardware testing processes, identifying test issues and undocumented features, and maintaining a comprehensive testing knowledge base by product or product family.
* Contributing to assurance and quality reviews, ensuring agreed-upon quality criteria are met.
* Identifying and mitigating potential clinical hazards for evaluation according to DCB0129/0160.
* Collaborating with vendors to create roadmap priorities.
* Contributing to the Trust's Clinical Systems Change Control Process.
This is a hybrid role primarily homeworking, but you will need to be available on-site and visit users across Devon as required.
We not only recruit based on qualifications and experience, but we also recruit individuals who possess and demonstrate the behaviours which underpin our Trust's core values. These include attributes such as showing a commitment to quality of care, improving the lives of others, and giving respect, dignity, and compassion. We can bring those values to life in our everyday tasks by giving a smile, making time for people, challenging ourselves and others, and being open to new ideas. We are committed to being an inclusive employer, and applications are encouraged and welcomed from all sections of the community, regardless of any protected characteristics as governed by the Equality Act 2010. Part-time and flexible working applications will be considered and supported where possible. We particularly encourage applicants with lived experience of mental health conditions, neurodiversity, or learning disabilities. We are a Disability Confident Leader.
