Job Title: HR Administrator
Location: Kirby Muxloe - LE9 2BJ
Salary: Up to £24,
Poundstretcher is actively recruiting for a HR administrator to work with a small, busy HR team.You will contribute to the development of an effective HR function by providing a top-level administration service, ensuring that all aspects of HR administration are carried out in an efficient and professional manner.
This is a varied role where you will be able to gain or increase experience dealing with all HR-related functions.
A HR Qualification would be desirable and would be a benefit but is not a must for the right candidate.
Main Responsibilities
1. Producing contracts of employment and offer letters
2. Ensuring the correct paperwork is completed for security clearance for new store management
3. Taking up & providing employment references
4. Administration for the management of sickness and absence
5. Updating vacancies on the Intranet & Internet
6. Any other ad-hoc HR projects/administration including absence, disciplinary, Long Term Sick letters
7. Set up and maintain personnel files for all new Store Management starters
8. Raise authorisation forms for new starters, salary increases etc.
9. Filing and archiving
10. Dealing with queries over the telephone from stores
11. Any ad-hoc duties as and when required

12. Strong interpersonal and relationship skills
13. Excellent organisational and administration skills
14. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
15. Ability to work within a demanding environment using own initiative.
16. Excellent IT skills (MS Office).
17. Highly organised, methodical approach. Extremely accurate with strong attention to detail
18. Ability to work to deadlines & prioritise workload
19. Customer Service outlook & approach to service delivery
