Our client, an independent accountancy practice, is seeking a Junior or Semi-Senior Accountant to join their friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a growing practice with a good reputation for high-quality personal service and a family friendly feel.
The ideal individual will have strong people skills, an outgoing personality and will work well in a small friendly team environment. Applications are also welcome from candidates who have completed an Accountancy degree and who are looking to progress into practice.
What you can expect:
£24,000 - £30,000 dependent upon experience and qualifications

This is an office-based role, but hybrid working can be considered after completion of the probationary period
Duties and Responsibilities:
Completion of bookkeeping for a mixed portfolio of Limited company and self-assessment clients
Drafting corporation tax computations
Completion of personal tax returns
Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple business streams and identify areas of potential business growth
Liaising with clients
Skills and experience required:
AAT / ACCA part qualified or QBE
2 years' experience in an accounting position within a practice
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, VLOOKUP)
