Based working from their office which is located just outside of Birmingham City Centre, as an experienced sales professional, you will understand the sales pipeline and have a real flair for building new relationships while looking after and nurturing existing accounts.
Our client is a family-owned Office Supplies and Furniture company, with a great reputation for service. Some of their customers include Local Authority and major organisation contracts throughout the UK.
What we need from you as a Sales Development Executive:
* You will have a minimum of 2 years sales or account management experience with Office Products or similar related industries.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Able to generate and foster ongoing relationships with new and existing customers.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work within a team or independently to achieve a profitable result.
* Good all-round computer skills, able to use MS Office/Outlook, etc.
What The Role Involves:
* To build and maintain profitable relationships with new and existing customers.
* Identify sales opportunities and close deals to achieve sales targets.
* Generate sales through high levels of outward-bound sales calls.
* Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge.
Salary:
£25,000 per year, negotiable. Pro rata for part-time working.
Hours:
Working Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm. Full-time or part-time considered. Flexible hours for part-time, working hours preferably over 3 days, hours to suit, to be discussed at interview stage.
