It is an exciting time to join us as a Senior Regional Transformation Lead. This role is key to ensuring we support employers and key stakeholders in the transformation agenda, creating a regional approach to convening and sharing best practice that demonstrates our impact in delivering real change.
This is a strategic and customer-facing role, as part of the regional engagement teams, you will have a full understanding of the breadth and depth of Skills for Care’s portfolio and engage with stakeholders and employers to communicate Skills for Care activity, gather employer feedback, and ensure that this is embedded within the organisation’s practice and plans, following matrix management methodology. You will be required to deliver and manage a variety of programmes, projects and initiatives to ensure we meet our business plan requirements and objectives.
Attention to detail, energy, ambition and motivation are key to the success of this work, alongside proven and proficient facilitation and interpersonal skills. Working with strategic partners, stakeholders and employers, the role also requires exemplary communication and commercial negotiation skills. You will work closely with your own and other regional teams, the Central Engagement team, and the wider Engagement Directorate. Using your knowledge, skills, experience and collaborative style, to work with key stakeholders and employers to support the delivery of Skills for Care strategic aims and deliver on Skills for Care funded activity and key performance indicators.
Reporting to the Head of Region, this role will be involved in delivering specific projects, influencing and delivering change within a system and leveraging inward investment into adult social care. Deputising for the Head of Region representing Skills for Care at. At key meetings with strategic partners if required. The role holder will be comfortable managing budgets and be a designated budget keeper for occasional work.
