This role will support Quality service delivery through appropriate methods of inspection and evaluation, in support of the requirements of their specific Quality requirements. To support quality inspection activities within Multi Material Facility
The successful candidate will be required to support quality inspection activities within Multi Material Facility.
* Knowledge of Inspection methods, processes, principles and practices.
* Knowledge of engineering drawings.
* Good attention to detail is essential.
* Capable of developing solutions to issues in a unique manufacturing environment.
* Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications and standards.
* Ability to generate and improve upon inspection instructions, inspection reports and other specific role documentation.
* Proficient in technical role requirements
* Understanding of Basic Quality Tools and World Class Manufacturing.
* Good inter-personnel skills.
* Flexible with good oral and written communication skills.
* Computer literate, competent in using the Microsoft Office range of software.
* Good hand to eye co-ordination.
* Able to provide inspection quality control support when undertaking investigations into performance issues.
* Previous experience in a Quality Control role.
* Sound workshop experience in the application of inspection quality tools and techniques, production activities and processes.
* Inspection practices, interpretation of detailed drawings, use of inspection equipment, setting up of components/assemblies.
* Reporting of product status including non-conformance management.

Whilst not to be considered a tick list, we'd like you to have experience in some of the following:
* Knowledge of use of Coordinate Measurement Machines (CMM), preferably with PCDMIS software).
* Basic understanding of problem resolution and continuous improvement tools and techniques. e.g. accredited by Yellow Belt and Green Belt programmes
* Knowledge of basic and advanced inspection quality tools, processes and systems.
* Knowledge of practical applications of 6-sigma methodology.
* Experienced in technical aspects of specific role requirements.
You'll need to have the ability to work calmly and constructively in a priority changing environment and be able to manage your own workload. You will also have initiative, enthusiasm, a flexible approach, and ability to work to tight deadlines.
Package: £29,640 - £44,460 (depending on your suitability, qualifications, and level of experience),
