An exciting opportunity for a forward-thinking, tenacious, and driven sales professional to join the commercial team at Silverstream Technologies. The role of Technical Sales Manager will focus on supporting the continued development in the LNGC sector.

Silverstream Technologies, founded in 2010, aims to optimize fuel efficiency in the maritime sector using air lubrication technology. The Silverstream System is a proven energy-saving technology, delivering 5-10% net fuel and emissions savings, suitable for both retrofit and newbuild vessels. Air lubrication addresses immediate decarbonization requirements and operational efficiency challenges from future energy transitions.

London HQ, Marylebone or Chandlers Ford, Southampton Office.
Reporting to:
Sales Director LNGC
The Technical Sales Manager will represent Silverstream Technologies in promoting its products and services to potential customers. They will own the sales of Silverstream System solutions for assigned customers, sales channels, and market segments. Core responsibilities include driving the sales process for opportunities, including lead qualification, bid strategy, reviewing customer documentation, conducting business case evaluations, and customer negotiations.
Experience / Qualifications Required:
* Experience in sales and proposal development related to equipment sales within the marine sector.
* Strong customer focus, personable, presentable, and effective with internal and external customers.
* Good technical knowledge of marine equipment and systems.
* Ability to deliver technical and commercial presentations internally and to customers.
* Understanding of commercial terms and conditions (preferred).
* Experience with sales processes and CRM systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Self-starter, effective working remotely and in an office environment.
* Ability to work within a sales and multidisciplinary team.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Degree in a relevant engineering subject.
* Experience in marine equipment sales.
* Strong customer presentation skills.
* Ability to develop creative solutions for marine equipment sales.
* Experience communicating with marine industry customers and stakeholders.
* Stakeholder management at multiple levels.
* Team player.
* Knowledge of energy (particularly LNG) shipping industry (preferred).
* Experience working with energy shipping companies (preferred).
