Hawthorn Drive Surgery is looking for two part-time care navigator/receptionists to join our friendly and experienced team. As part of the care navigator/reception team, you will support the team in providing care for over 10,000 patients.
You'll need excellent communication and computer skills, along with a 'can-do' attitude. Full training and support will be given.
Main Duties of the Job
* Making appointments
* Contacting patients as required
* Giving out results
* Home visit requests
* Dealing with general enquiries and complaints
* Answering external calls from patients and internal calls from other staff members
* Greeting and directing patients and visitors
* Handing out prescriptions
* Giving out and taking in new patient registrations

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Grade C or above in English or equivalent
Experience
* Experience working in a GP surgery
* Experience using System One (clinical system)
* Experience working with the general public
* Experience using email
* Experience using basic IT
