Hamptons are working closely with a small yet well-established children’s residential care provider who are looking for an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to oversee their ‘Good’ rated 4 bed EBD home based in Harrow, North West London. The Role: Children’s Registered Manager Ensure the effective implementation of the Children Act 1989 and the accompanying guidance and regulations, the Care Standards Act and the Children’s Homes Regulations Provide leadership and coaching in childcare practice within the home to ensure best outcomes for children and young people Ensure the assessment and evaluation of the needs of the young people is recorded accurately and comprehensively Supervise and support the staff group ensuring that the team are developed appropriately to meet the specific needs of children and young people in the home About You: Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Children’s Residential or equivalent Specialist knowledge of Children’s Home Regulations and safeguarding procedures Committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for the young people Well developed written and verbal communication Must have been registered with Ofsted previously with successful outcome Working knowledge of young people with emotional and behavioral difficulties What’s On Offer: Salary: Up to £65K Bonus scheme Progression opportunity Flexible working Supportive management team Settled home with established staffing About: Our client’s mission is to provide the best possible opportunities for the young people that come in to their care in order to allow them to reach their full educational and social potential.
