Contract term: Fixed Term - January to July 2025
Contract type: Full-Time, Term-Time Only, 35 hours per week working 08:15-15:45 Monday to Friday
Scale: Grade 5, Point 13, which equates to a pro rata salary of £23,604
This is a great opportunity to come and work in our highly rated secondary school in central Manchester.
We're looking for a suitably qualified or experienced person to undertake the classroom supervision of students throughout the school on a daily basis in the absence of teaching staff and to assist, as required, with duties, invigilation and in-class support.

WHAT WE WANT FROM YOU:
* Experience and understanding of safeguarding and child protection issues, or be willing to undertake training in these areas;
* Numeracy and literacy skills at least equivalent to RQF Level 2; good ICT skills are also desirable;
* Ideally have experience of working in an educational setting and have effective behaviour management skills;
* Be professional, flexible and innovative, with experience of undertaking a wide variety of duties and an ability to deal skillfully with unanticipated situations;
* The ability to work under pressure and remain calm;
* Good communication skills with the ability to work well within a team, yet able to demonstrate an ability to work unsupervised utilising their own initiative;
* Supportive of the school's excellent staff attendance and punctuality record, which in turn supports student attainment.
