The Product Governance Executive role will provide you with opportunity to further your career by joining a complex product team. You'll expand your knowledge across Retail products, whilst also gaining broader exposure across the wider business. You'll primarily be responsible for supporting completion of a range of product reviews, the implementation of appropriate controls and governance, and assisting with delivery of training and support to ensure that policy requirements are met. At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home at your local office with adhoc travel to London for team meetings, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. What you’ll be doing: Support the completion of all Fair Value Assessments, reporting, action tracking and implementation. Provide oversight, including communication, delivery and queries on manufactured led product reviews. Support and document the approval of new products being introduced, adaptations to existing products in line with the Retail approval process and UK PAP process with clear audit trails and versioning. Assist with guidance and support to Product and Trading teams to ensure that the requirements of the Product Governance policy are adhered to and report any breaches to the appropriate committees. Conduct annual reviews on AXA Retail owned target market statements, product groupings and market benchmarking. Engage with Risk and Compliance Assurance teams to identify risks and controls and measure effectiveness. Ensure the full suite of MI is available for all Retail products and remains fit for purpose. Represent Product Governance at committees on data quality and governance. Investigate and keep teams informed of issues relevant to product and act as business representative for remediation activity. Knowledge of AXA products, acceptance criteria and broker relationships. Familiarity with a wide range of intermediary partner and software house systems. Good influencing skills with ability to communicate well with peers and more senior colleagues and work across teams to deliver results. Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to successfully multi-task. Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written. Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel skills. As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom. This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that in addition to pre-employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every 4 years with an annual declaration in interim years.
