Staff Nurse (Night Shifts)
Hourly Rate: £17 - £19.50 | 40 hours per week

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Staff Nurse (Nights) to join our client's nursing team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a Staff Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional care in a nursing home setting. You will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of residents during the night.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Registered General Nurse (RGN) or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification, with a valid UK NMC Pin
* Demonstrable experience in a nursing home or long-term care environment, with a solid understanding of elderly care
* Strong clinical skills with a working knowledge of current nursing best practices and infection control
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, residents, and their families
* A compassionate and empathetic approach to resident care, with a commitment to maintaining dignity and respect at all times
* Ability to work independently during night shifts while being an integral part of a collaborative care team

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality, person-centred nursing care to residents throughout the night shift
* Administer medications and treatments in line with prescribed care plans, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
* Closely monitor residents' health, noting any changes in condition, and communicating with the clinical team to ensure timely intervention
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, therapists, and other nurses, to implement and update individualized care plans
* Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and uphold the highest nursing practices to ensure the best possible outcomes for residents
* Supervise and provide guidance to healthcare assistants and junior staff, ensuring the smooth running of the unit during the night shift
* Ensure clear and accurate record-keeping, including maintaining residents' charts and care notes
