This role
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role is an important part of the Community Impact Team and will work closely with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to appropriately support residents and customers with additional requirements to achieve their personal goals and reduce associated risks and costs for MTVH.
This post holder will be responsible for building a relationship of trust, advising and empowering residents experiencing multiple barriers to achieve their personal goals to live well and sustain their tenancies. Activities include carrying out a comprehensive assessment of residents? circumstances and supporting the resident to complete an action plan that fully addresses all immediate, medium- and long-term needs of individual residents to enable them to sustain their tenancies and live well.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will come with extensive knowledge and a track record of delivering one to one support to individuals dealing with a range of vulnerabilities, including fuel and food poverty, mental ill health and physical and financial difficulties.
They will have the ability to adopt a needs-led approach to develop solution focused interventions with holistic support assessments and action plans. In addition they will have experience of working on complex cases in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.The candidate will be expected to provide tenancy support where needed. The applicant will have experience in caseload management and monitoring. This is a values driven role and we will be looking for someone with the energy, enthusiasm and passion to make a real difference for MTVH residents and communities. The successful candidate will put the resident at the centre of the process and empower them to find solutions to enable them to live well.
To meet our commitment to providing safe, high quality services to our customers we will complete an Enhanced Level background check with the Disclosure and Barring service, once an offer of employment is made. As standard you will be added to the DBS updating service with a new check being carried out on a 3 yearly basis. The cost of a DBS will be paid for by the organisation as part of the onboarding process.
