Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Commercial Heating Systems

Area to be covered: East Midlands (DE, DN, LE, LN, NG, S)
Remuneration: £52,000 - £54,000 + circa £10,000 bonus
Benefits: £545 car allowance or hybrid company car + comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Commercial Heat Pumps will involve:
1. Field sales positions selling a high-quality manufactured range of heat pumps, boilers, and water heaters.
2. 50% of your time will be spent generating specifications via M&E consultants, mechanical consultants, and local authorities.
3. 40% of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors, specialist sub-contractors, and main contractors.
4. The remaining 10% of your time will be spent managing sales through plumber merchants, builder merchants, and specialist distributors.
5. Dealing with typical order values of around £10k-£150k+ depending on project size.
6. Inheriting a well-established area turning over circa £1.2m capable of achieving £2m+.
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Manager – Commercial Heat Pumps with:
1. Field sales experience selling commercial heating & hot water systems.
2. Experience with heat pumps is ideal.
3. Specification sales experience via M&E consultants and local authorities.
4. Contacts in the industry.
5. Commercially astute.
6. Dynamic with a strong work ethic.
7. Likeable, tenacious, and results-oriented.
