We are looking to recruit Regional Facilitators to work in our innovative North East and Yorkshire School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation.
As part of the strategy to develop and integrate the NHS workforce, enhance multi-professional team working and implement the new GPhC Initial Education and Training standards, NHSE continues to support an exciting and innovative project to transform foundation pharmacist pharmacist training.
This work is underpinned by the need for a flexible, productive and affordable healthcare workforce that meets the needs of patients, reflecting evolving care pathways and the values set out in the NHS Constitution and Five Year Forward View.
The successful applicant will be part of our team of regional facilitators and training programme directors and will be expected to link effectively within the School of Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation, with the national lead for the programme and with other internal and external stakeholders. They will be based at a local NHSE office but will be expected to travel to multiple sites across their region with potential occasional travel to other regions and London.
We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced individuals who can support the expansion and embedding of general practice placements as well as supporting the implementation of the initial education and training standards, working with pharmacy and general practice providers across their region.
You should have a passion for education, a sound understanding of community or hospital pharmacy and primary care, with experience of working as part of a multi-professional team and a track record of delivering projects to deadlines.
