If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you The opportunity Our client is currently seeking an experienced Safety Case Engineer and a Senior Safety Case Engineer to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of safety cases for analytical services and infrastructure. You will play a critical role in ensuring that safety case documentation is clear, user-friendly, and compliant with all regulatory and operational standards. This is a full-time role (37-40 hours per week), with a flexible office-based working pattern (2-4 days per week). You will have the following duties and responsibilities Provide expert safety case advice and documentation to support safety case development and implementation. Collaborate with engineering, operations, and training teams to develop operational schedules, engineering schedules, operator instructions, maintenance instructions, and training packages. Facilitate communication between key stakeholders to ensure effective verification of safety case requirements. Present safety case documentation to safety committees and other relevant forums. Oversee the production and execution of safety case implementation plans. Support the production, review, and approval of Plant Modification Proposals (PMPs). Deliver operator briefings on safety case changes and their impact. Engage with regulatory bodies and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and alignment with best practices. You will have the following qualifications and experience Strong understanding of safety case documentation, engineering drawings, and associated technical information. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage effectively across multiple disciplines. Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Experience in a safety case, engineering, or operational role within a regulated environment is desirable.
