We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Contractor Escort to join our Ministry of Justice (MoJ) account in HMP Stocken this role is based on-site.
The salary is £24,469.85.
At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons.
By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly.
Contractor Escort plays an important part in ensuring the planned and reactive maintenance work within the prisons is carried out in a safe, compliant and timely manner.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
You will be responsible for:
Safety and contractor checks and monitoring
Site induction duties
You will also be flexibly deployed to provide a range of other support service activities within operational areas of an establishment when required, including aiding contractors working on site
Responsible for ensuring H&S standards are achieved across the contract.
What makes this role unique is you will be a key part of the maintenance team, responsible for those on site without security clearance. Prison Security Clearance will be required (Amey will support you through this process).
