Our client, a leading drinks manufacturer, is looking to add a Quality Assurance Manager to their team. This role supports the Technical Manager and bridges the gap between the factory and the Technical department to ensure and maintain good quality & food safety practices within the business, providing a chance to manage and grow your own team!
Description
1. Manage a team of 4 people on each shift pattern (total 8).
2. Report into the Technical Manager and support audits.
3. Conduct internal audits.
4. Be customer-facing with major UK retailers.
5. Able to create change within a department.
6. Liaise with multiple stakeholders in the business.
7. Deal with customer complaints.
8. Manage QMS system.
Profile
1. Strong soft skills to lead a department and not be afraid to lead change.
2. Strong customer-facing experience.
3. Must have managerial experience and have led a team before.
4. BRC experience.
5. HACCP Level 3.
6. Food Safety qualifications.
7. Degree in Food or related field.
8. Specification experience - dealing with customer portals.
9. Lead auditor qualification - experience leading internal audits.
Job Offer
Paying up to £55k depending on experience, 25 days holiday + all bank holidays, onsite free parking, and a welfare package.
