We're looking for an Estate Manager to join our team on a fixed term basis to cover the maternity leave of the current post holder. The role leads on the management of our tenanted properties within the Carmarthenshire portfolio and will also provide support to the Senior Estate Manager in Pembrokeshire. The portfolio includes the Dolaucothi, Dinefwr and Llanstephan properties owned by the National Trust. There are a diverse range of agricultural, residential and commercial lettings. You'll be a key link with the tenants and other stakeholders. As such communication and professional knowledge are key strengths required in this role. We look after more land than any other private landowner. With over 254,000 hectares of countryside and tens of thousands of buildings, our estate is large and complex, incorporating agricultural holdings, residential property and commercial premises. This is a fixed term contract due to end when the postholder returns to the role. At this point we cannot confirm exactly how long this contract will last, but it is unlikely to be more than 12 months. As this role covers the South Wales region, your contractual place of work will be the nearest National Trust office to your home. Our hybrid working policy means you can balance office and home working with site visits and meetings at other National Trust places. What you'll be doing As an Estate Manager, you'll be working with a wide range of conservation and heritage professionals along with our tenants and other stakeholders to deliver the modern, progressive land management approach we need to do this.
