Role: Electrical Testing Manager - £350 - £450 per day (Temp to Perm Opportunity)
The Electrical Testing Manager is responsible for the performance of the electrical testing team, inspection, and troubleshooting on a major Data Centre. This is the opportunity to work on a flagship project and work for one of the UK's leading M&E contractors. As the manager, you will ensure your team of AP's and testers conduct various tests and inspections, interpret results, identify issues, and recommend appropriate corrective actions. You will also ensure both in-house and outsourced engineers are set up safely and adhere to the client's processes. The key to this role is to be process-driven, proactive, and technically sound.
Role/Responsibilities:
1. Design Review (scope gaps / clashes)
2. Short term programming
3. Health & Safety (RAMS)
4. Preparation/issuing all RFI
5. Issuing permits of works
6. QA/QC
7. Troubleshooting
8. Document test procedures, results and recommendations
9. Provide technical support
10. Testing and commissioning of equipment
11. Liaising with client team, main contractor and sub-contractors
12. Progress meetings with sub-contractors, professional teams, and client
The ideal candidate:
1. Have a 2391 City & Guilds
2. Authorized Person certificates
3. 18th Edition
4. Experience working on Data Centre or Critical Environment Projects
5. Experience managing projects to a minimum of £5M
6. A minimum of 2 years' experience in a management role
7. The candidate will show longevity in previous employment
