Supporting new projects with sourcing suppliers to ensure materials are available for trials and a robust supply chain is established for ongoing production requirements.
Supporting Purchasing strategy which delivers the most competitive commercial position for our business, with robust and lean supply chain supporting production.
IF YOU ARE ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT...
* Issuing Request for Quotations and analyzing supplier responses, including review of cost data and QAF to ensure optimum terms for our business.
* Creating the quotation summary, total cost analysis, analysis of make or buy, target costing analysis, and drafting of Nomination letters.
* Supplier selection and evaluation according to panel specifications.
* Conducting negotiations and price discussions.
* Supporting NPI function in achieving on-time and budget gateway targets.
* Preparing and issuing purchase orders according to Company purchasing policies and procedures.
* Processing invoices in the ECM.
* Building good working relationships both internally with cross-functional team members and externally with suppliers.
* Optimizing commercial opportunities, including benchmarking costs to achieve cost and efficiency savings.
* Benchmarking prices for materials, consumables, and services, while challenging price increases.
* Maintaining department KPI records, including supplier spend and performance.
* Evaluating movement of stock and raw materials.
* Participating in multi-department improvement activities.
* Inputting to Purchasing supplier strategies.
* Maintaining SAP Master Data.
* Helping/Guiding Trainees on basic team & purchasing responsibilities.
...AND POSSESS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS?
* CIPS L4+
* Familiarity with ISO TS16949.
* Proven experience of working with and managing suppliers.
* Indirect Purchasing Experience.
* Project Management skills.
* Problem Solving abilities.
* Experience in Delivering Direct NPI Projects.
