Hours per week: 30 hrs/week. 9am -3pm Monday to Friday. No weekends
Hourly pay rate: £12.75 rising to £13.75 following a months probation/trial
This role involves supporting a 33 year old man who has a great sense of humour with all aspects of his day to day care. This individual you will be supporting has quadriplegic Cerebral Palsy with communication difficulties, however he has total understanding and is very helpful. He communicates via a communication device that is worked by his eyes. He has an interest in comedies and music. The successful applicant will be comfortable with providing personal care and will be comfortable working in a household with a dog.
Duties include:
Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Administration
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Companionship
Looking after pets
Dressing / undressing
Candidate qualities:

We have a dog and so must be happy with animals.
