As the Events Operations Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination and execution of all events hosted at One Hundred Shoreditch Hotel. From weddings and corporate gatherings to private parties and conferences, you will work closely with the events team to deliver exceptional service and unforgettable experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
1. Supervise and lead the events operations team, including banquet staff, servers, and support staff, to ensure smooth event execution.
2. Collaborate with the events sales team and clients to understand event requirements, including setup, timing, and special requests.
3. Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all equipment, furniture, and décor are arranged according to specifications.
4. Coordinate with other hotel departments, including catering, audiovisual, and housekeeping, to fulfill event needs and exceed guest expectations.
5. Conduct pre-event briefings with staff to communicate event details, roles, and responsibilities, and ensure alignment on service standards.
6. Monitor event proceedings to address any issues or concerns promptly and ensure a seamless guest experience.
7. Assist with inventory management, including tracking event supplies and coordinating replenishment as needed.
8. Uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards in accordance with hotel policies and regulations.
Salary: £12.45 + Tronc
