We are looking to appoint a Primary KS1 ECT. We are looking to appoint a class teacher for Year 1 or Year 2 therefore, please state clearly your preferred key stage and/or year groups in your application. ECT’s welcome! All Primary KS1 ECT candidates must have QTS – non-QTS applicants will not be shortlisted.

Primary KS1 ECT - Our ideal candidate will have:
8. DFE recognised Qualified Teacher Status
9. Recent relevant training
10. The ability to plan, organise and prioritise work in order to meet deadlines
11. Effective behaviour management skills; ability to develop excellent relationships
12. The ability to identify and implement successful inclusion strategies for all children
13. The ability to track and interpret class performance data, identifying areas for improvement
14. An excellent understanding of curriculum and pedagogical issues, including recent developments within the primary phase
15. Thorough understanding of and commitment to equality of opportunity
16. Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection issues
17. The ability to demonstrate resilience, and willing to face new challenges with enthusiasm and positivity
18. The ability to work independently and on own initiative; take responsibility for own professional development
