Electrical Engineer
Salary: Competitive
Location: London
The successful post holder will be required to:
1. Undertake planned & reactive trade-related maintenance tasks within own area of expertise and skills set allocated by the Scheduler and/or appropriate manager.
2. Ordering supplier parts via purchase order line.
3. Managing van stock as required.
4. Participate in the out of hours call out rota as designated.
5. Provide recommendations / solution options to rectify faults/maintenance issues.
6. Take measurements, estimate labour and identify material requirements for follow-on works via the red reporting system.
7. Provide support to other trades when required.
Requirements:
1. 18th Edition – essential
2. NVQ Level 3 – essential
3. Inspection and Testing – essential
4. Basic competency in using technology – email and the use of tablets for internal software system.
5. Full driving licence – essential.
6. Sound understanding of Health, Safety and environmental legislation and working practices essential.
7. Ability to work at heights.
8. Good communication skills (verbal and written) - essential.
9. Must be able to cover emergency call outs (evenings, weekends, and bank holidays on a rota basis).
