Accounts Assistant required to work onsite for a manufacturing business based in Redditch to support the finance function through invoice processing, account reconciliation, and general accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be qualified or studying AAT and hold a full UK driving licence.
Responsibilities:
1. Processing purchase ledger invoices.
2. Confirming invoice prices against purchase orders and maintaining control spreadsheets.
3. Processing and managing weekly and monthly supplier payment runs.
4. Reconciliation of supplier statements.
5. Monitoring bank accounts for incoming and outgoing payments, allocation, and reconciliation.
6. Completing and submitting credit applications.
7. Creating, printing, and posting sales invoices to clients as required.
8. Supporting Sales Ledger and credit control if necessary.
9. Reconciling credit card statements.
10. Managing petty cash reconciliation.
11. Preparing commercial and recharge invoices.
