Job summary Band 4 - Assistant Psychologist - Full Time - Permanent - Multiple Vacancies. We are excited to be able to offer three opportunities for enthusiastic and committed Assistant Psychologists to work within our acute inpatient mental health hospitals. We currently have two vacancies for candidates to work across our three acute wards, including a PICU, at Farnham Road Hospital, Guildford. We have a further vacancy to work across our four wards at Silverwood, St Peters Hospital Campus, Chertsey. The role offers the privilege of working with people at their time of greatest mental health need. Our Assistant Psychologists enjoy the benefit of a high clinical weighting to the role; with a large emphasis on delivering our bespoke Psychological group programme and individual Psychological interventions. Main duties of the job To support and enhance the professional psychological care of people who use our services by providing psychological assessment and psychological interventions, under the supervision of a qualified clinical psychologist working within the service, and by working independently according to a plan agreed with the team leader and the supervising psychologist. To assist in clinically related administration, conduct of audits, collection of outcome statistics, and/or other project work as appropriate and agreed with the team leader and supervising psychologist.
