Administration Assistant - Telford - ARD1056673
We’re on the hunt for a talented Administration Assistant to join our team in our Telford office.
You’ll be dealing direct with corporate clients, processing their requests for policy changes to their policies, including driver referrals and everyday policy queries.
You’ll need to be very organised and self-motivated with a good telephone manner and a real grasp for detail.
To provide a quality administrative service to all clients covering all aspects of their insurance arrangements.
What does an Administration Assistant here do?
This is an overview and not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. Collaborating with your line manager, you will develop your own objectives but focus on all of the following:
1. To service existing clients and ensure the smooth administration of their policies.
2. Develop, maintain and cultivate a constructive and professional relationship with clients and insurers at all levels
3. Provide back up to our Credit Control department in liaising with clients for overdue premiums.
4. Be the first point of contact for day to day enquiries from clients, providers and other internal and external sources. When the enquiry falls outside own knowledge, swiftly referring the query to the appropriate person.
5. Independently respond to queries from both clients and insurers in a pro-active manner, whilst keeping consultants informed as appropriate
6. Maintain client records and data in line with Towergate systems and protocols
7. Liaise with various account handlers regarding individual client accounts
What are we looking for in our next Administration Assistant?
8. Competent in the use of Microsoft programmes including Excel and Word
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
10. Proactive attitude, with the ability to use initiative
11. Excellent organisational skills
12. The ability to work under pressure, while maintaining attention to detail
13. Effective teamworking skills
14. Willingness to learn
15. Must possess a professional telephone manner and have experience in communicating directly with customers, namely decision makers
16. Background in Customer Service/Sales
17. Background in Insurance preferred but not essential
