Care that Feels Good to Give
Build a partnership that truly values your time, your heart, and your instincts.
We understand how challenging working in care can be.
You're constantly on the move, rushing from one visit to the next, and often left feeling like you’re not doing enough — even when you're giving it your all. You care deeply, but the system doesn’t always give you the space to show it.
That’s why we created Your Care.
Since 2014, we’ve been building something better:
* Small, consistent communities of carers and clients
* Visits with enough time to connect
* Genuine support for those receiving care – and those giving it
Because we believe care should feel right— not rushed, exhausting or impersonal.
A Role That’s Built Around You
No two people are the same — and that’s why no two roles at Your Care are either. We match you with individuals based on your personality, availability and shared interests. That way, you can build relationships that are real and rewarding.
You’ll be supporting adults — some living with dementia, some just needing a little extra help — in staying independent and living life their way.
* Companionship and meaningful conversation
* Meal preparation, light household tasks, or medication prompts
* Providing personal care with respect and dignity
* Outings for appointments, hobbies, or simply a breath of fresh air
And because you’ll see the same people on the same days, you’ll both benefit from the trust and comfort that comes with consistency.
Who We're Looking For
We don’t just look for experience — we look for heart.
Whether you’ve worked in care, hospitality, beauty, customer service, or childcare, what really matters is your ability to notice the details, do things properly, and show genuine compassion.
We're looking for people who are:
* Kind, calm and dependable
* Observant and thoughtful— the type to notice when something’s off
* Friendly and trustworthy, able to build real rapport
* Confident working one-on-one in someone’s home
* Drivers with access to a car (you’ll need business-use insurance too – we can advise on this if needed)
If you’re someone who naturally goes above and beyond — just because it’s the right thing to do — you’ll feel right at home in our community.
How the Role Works
This is a self-employed position, giving you the freedom to set a schedule that works for your life.
You choose your regular days and times — and we ask you to stick with them, so your clients can count on you.
Need more flexibility? We also have a bank community for occasional hours and ad hoc support.
What you can expect from us
We do not believe in throwing you in the deep end. From the moment you join us, we’ll guide you through everything – at your pace.
Here’s what you can expect:
* Easy-to-access online mandatory training you can do in your own time
* One-on-one peer support (in real client homes — not classrooms!)
You’ll never be left to figure it out on your own — we’re always just a message or call away.
If you’re kind, thoughtful and looking for meaningful work that makes a difference — we’d love to chat.
The first step is a relaxed, informal conversation. No pressure — just a chance to get to know each other and see if Your Care is a good fit for you.
