SystmOne Information Asset Administrator and System Trainer

As an Information Asset Administrator (IAA), the post holder will support the SystmOne Information Asset Owner (IAO) and be responsible for the day-to-day management of SystmOne ensuring that policies and procedures are applied and adhered to by staff using the system and that information held within the system is of the highest quality.
Delivery of first-class ongoing business as usual training and support of SystmOne end users.
SystmOne is a major information asset for the ICO and directly impacts the delivery of patient care by supporting the clinical process. The post holder will need to deal with all groups of staff across their area of responsibility.
Participation in an on-call rota/out of hours service may be required to ensure Business Continuity.
Main duties of the job
* Manage SystmOne business as usual activities including resolving helpdesk queries, assisting in the creation of relevant processes and policies, maintaining system security and data integrity, and undertaking data quality programmes.
* Identify, plan for and deliver any business-as-usual training and develop appropriate training materials to reflect ongoing changes to existing SystmOne implementations, supporting users as necessary following the release of new functionality.
* Play a key role in realising the financial benefits delivered by successful business change, underpinned by the delivery of high-quality training of the functionality that has been implemented.

Person Specification
Qualifications and training
* Educated to degree level or equivalent professional qualification, or equivalent work gained experience.
* Have an expert understanding of IT training.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
* Successful completion of TPP's core training course.
Knowledge and Experience
* Must have delivered training previously with proven effectiveness.
* Able to work to high standards and have the ability to explain technical jargon in a non-technical way.
* Have a proactive approach to problem solving and able to identify and resolve problems.
* Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products.
* Motivational, empathetic and reassurance skills.
* Knowledge of the importance of data quality to accurate reporting and the techniques used to identify data quality issues.
* Understanding of confidentiality, the Data Protection Act and data protection issues.
* Curious learner who takes initiative to fill their own knowledge gaps.
* Experience of working and engaging effectively with all levels of staff on technical and non-technical issues.
* Previous experience of SystmOne.
* Working in a project management environment.
* Understanding and experience of working in a complex NHS Trust.
* Previous IT Training experience within an NHS environment.
* Experience of facilitating change within the NHS or similar environment.
