At Triumph Motorcycles, we are going through an exciting period of growth. We are seeking a Race Purchasing Coordinator to join our Procurement team based at our global headquarters.
The Race Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for supporting race team purchasing activities. This role's responsibilities include liaising with Racing Operations, Race Engineering, Race Quality, and Procurement to develop race procurement strategies and ensure the delivery of all parts supply on time.
Through working cross-functionally, you will develop timing plans and sourcing initiatives with the aim of:
1. Supporting on-time delivery of race programmes.
2. Reducing development lead-times of new model parts.
3. Facilitating bringing new market technologies to our products expediently.
4. Identifying and onboarding suitable suppliers.
5. Developing collaborative relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
The successful candidate must be:
1. Highly self-motivated and resilient, customer-centric with strong communication skills.
2. Capable of working independently while managing time and tasks to tight deadlines.
3. Proficient in Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, & Outlook.
4. Highly methodical with organizational skills.
5. Able to drive.
