The Project Coordinator (Delivery) reports to the Head of Delivery. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the safe provision of specific activities with strict adherence to regulatory and license obligations for the electricity distribution network, including Investment, Connections, Operations & Maintenance.
What you’ll be doing
Delivering district business plan outputs in line with financial, regulatory, and business plan objectives while optimizing return through incentive mechanisms.
Through the delivery of robust project plans, you will facilitate business deliverables in line with district and license plans to minimize outages to customers.
Ensuring efficient and effective delivery of performance targets, such as Customer Minutes Lost, Customer Interruptions, Broad Measure of Customer Satisfaction, Guaranteed Standards, Time to Connect, and other incentive mechanisms.
Driving continual performance improvement through analysis of outputs and feedback from internal and external sources, integrating asset stewardship and ownership values through sound engineering principles and coordinated planning and delivery activities.
Additional Responsibilities:
* Promoting an exemplary safety culture and ensuring that all safety legislation is implemented through all activities.
* Delivering maintenance and reliability, system performance, and network security business plan outputs.
* Delivering a portfolio of capital investment projects and associated regulatory outputs.
What you’ll bring
* Project/programme coordination experience.
* Knowledge of the regulatory environment, including relevant output and incentive mechanisms.
* General contract, commercial, and regulatory awareness.
* Effective stakeholder and customer service engagement and management.
* Ability to communicate and present information effectively at all levels.
* Ability to manage competing priorities using sound engineering and financial judgment.
* Awareness and understanding of key business drivers and the external commercial context.
* Ability to devise solutions to problems/challenges.
* Working knowledge of Construction and maintenance standards in accordance with regulatory requirements.
As a minimum, you will demonstrate:
* Either a crafts qualification, apprenticeship, S/NVQ, or equivalent experience.
* Experience in a project delivery role.
* Relevant network construction and operational experience.
* Computer literacy.
* Current driving license.
