Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic Band 7 Dietitian to join our friendly team to work as a key, valued and active member of the Diabetes multidisciplinary and dietetic teams. This is permanent part-time post. The applicant must be self-motivated, well-organised and be confident communicator. Informal visits or discussions about the role are very welcome. Based at Princess Royal Hospital, Haywards Heath. Main duties of the job The post holder will work alongside another part time band 7 diabetes dietitian. They will see adult patients with all forms of diabetes including diabetes in pregnancy in outpatients clinics at the Princess Royal Hospital or in telephone clinics which can be carried out remotely. This post offers excellent opportunities to develop working relationships with a wide MDT network including Diabetes Consultants, Diabetes Specialist nurses, Specialist Clinical Psychologists, GPs, and Practice nurses. The post holder will participate in continuing professional development, audit and research within this specialist area to further best practice and personal development. They will also be involved in supporting junior dietitians and students.
