About the Role
The SEN / SEND Tutor role involves providing Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs (SEMH), Moderate and Severe Learning Difficulties (MLD / SLD), or other Additional Educational Needs. You will work with students who require some level of support in their educational and social-emotional journey. Your role will be to provide this support via flexible and holistic trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring.
You will be responsible for planning each session of teaching / tutoring / mentoring, providing the young person with engaging sessions which meet their needs and advance their educational and social-emotional journey, and completing lesson reports and providing feedback on the young person's progress.
