We are looking for a motivated, inquisitive and detail-orientated Cost Engineer to join our small, friendly and dynamic team working within the Manufacturing organisation. Role: Principal Cost Engineer Salary : Circa £50,000 depending on experience Dynamic (hybrid) working : 1-2 days per week on-site due to workload classification Security Clearance : British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team. Experience of estimating/cost engineering is desirable. Relevant production life cycle experience is highly desirable. A sound appreciation of manufacturing processes is important. Good level of influencing, negotiating and persuasiveness with the ability to adapt style in different situations. Skilled in managing deadlines with the ability to multi-task and prioritise own work and work of others. Strong analytical skills. Able to assimilate facts from a range of sources. Self-motivated with the resilience and tenacity to deliver results through others.
