Relief Janitor to cover holidays, absence etc at CLC
To assist and support the Head- Janitor/Janitorial Supervisor to deliver a comprehensive service to our client.
The provision of compliance with contractual requirements while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness and customer care.
• Ensure that a high standard of service delivery is provided within their establishment.
• Responsible for Lets and to act as first point of contact for the resolution of Premises users’ queries.
• Responsible, along with the Head Janitor, for the decoration, fabric and landscaping condition standards as well as the completion of all Janitorial reactive work in the School in a timeous manner to meet the SLAs of the Project Agreement and in compliance with Company Policy
• Liaise with the Head- Janitor to ensure that service delivery is provided in the proper manner and that all work is well coordinated.
• Assist the Head- Janitor in the delivery of Janitorial PPM ensuring all tasks are completed safely and on time.
• Responsible for the IMS T2 procedures within the School in compliance with Company Policy.
• Assist the Head- Janitor in the delivery of a Monthly Report to the Janitorial Supervisor which meets the requirements of the ELS Project Monthly Operations Report.
• Monitor the quality of work performed by sub-contractors on site including cleaning and inform the Head Janitor of any issues.
• Responsible for the security of the premises and contents by undertaking the following: -
• Open and secure buildings as required
• Responsible for inspecting the property and carrying out maintenance actions
• Ensure all site documentation is maintained correctly and that induction procedures are being followed.
• Undertake energy monitoring by meter reading and other activities as outlined by the Head Janitor.
• These duties and responsibilities may be changed in accordance with the needs of the company; the post holder may be required to provide support to holders of other posts according to changes in workload and patterns of working.
Skills
• Previous experience within the service or construction industry is desired but not essential.
