4R Group are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to help us deliver a first-class recycling service to our customers. The role is to drive a vehicle from our fleet of Class 1 Vehicles delivering to a wide variety of agricultural locations in the region.
The successful candidate will have experience driving HGV’s and will be able to work flexibly and independently with support from our operational teams.
Main Duties and Responsibilities – What you need to do.
* Completing daily deliveries in accordance with agreed transport schedules.
* Loading and unloading using correct equipment and supervision of activity at all times.
* Excellent communication and liaison with field staff, site staff and 4R transport management to ensure smooth running of operations and deliveries.
* Carrying out all duties in a professional manner.
* Following safety and operational procedures in accordance with 4R and customer site policies, including health and safety procedures, loading procedures, spill response and emergency procedures.
* Smart and professional appearance at all times, including use of appropriate 4R Personal Protective Equipment as necessary.
* Completion of all necessary compliance paperwork in a timely manner.

* To act as an ambassador for the 4R Group at all times.
* Health and Safety: to work to and follow all safety regulations under prevailing legislation and any relevant policies and job risk assessment.

Personal Specification – What you should have.
Qualifications
* Full Class 1 Driving Licence (maximum 6 points).
Skills/Knowledge
* Minimum 1 year’s experience operating a tipper.
* Minimum 1 year’s experience driving Class 1 HGV’s.
* Experience in recycling transport would be a strong advantage, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment.
* Flexible and adaptable work ethic.
Pay & Benefits
Pay - £13.46 - £15.57 per hour, with a minimum of 50 hours per week.
Allowances - £25 overnight expense allowance.
Holiday - 28 days including bank holidays.
Other Benefits - Pension, Company funded CPC ongoing training/renewal.
