Typically operating at end of vehicle contract BCAL Logistics inspects & collects in excess of 600,000 vehicles per annum making it the largest provider of these services within the sector with further growth planned.

Main purpose of job:
BCA Logistics is looking to appoint a Driver Coordinator, with the primary focus of the role not only to manage the day-to-day activities but to also assist our driver resource out on the road to ensure that key operational targets and service levels are achieved and maintained.
As a Driver Coordinator, for the non-conformance team, you will be an enthusiastic individual who can listen to Driver issues and working alongside our customer and internal procedures offer a unique and innovative solution to each problem. The successful candidate for this role will have a strong understanding of the company’s operating procedures and be well trained in our customer SLA’s, Processes and deliverables which will be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to drivers.
The role will be office based located at our head office in Birmingham, B37
Main Responsibilities:
Answering all incoming calls in a speedily manner, maintaining calls answered sla’s
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with drivers and working to establish a positive rapport with every caller
Update drivers with progress and instructions to resolve issues
Liaise with contacts at collection and delivery points to resolve issues as quickly and efficiently as possible
Liaise with the coordination and planning team to ensure all areas are kept up to date with any changes in the drivers planned day
Update conformance information in our core business database, during and after each call
Have a positive impact to ensure that we continue exceed expectation
Essential Criteria
Strong Customer Service
Confident to communicate with all team members
Ability to remain professional and courteous with drivers and customers at all times
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a passion for finding solutions to enhance performance
Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail
Dedicated and ambitious, able to handle high work demands
Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with all levels
Excellent time management
Well organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
