We are looking to recruit a Sub Contracts Manager on a 12-month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
On Offer:

Contract Formation:
1. Developing Contracting Strategy
2. Development of Project Contracts Plans and Administration Procedures
3. Bid List Preparation / Bidder Pre-Qualification
4. Understanding and support of KBR Supplier Diversity Initiatives
5. Commitment to Supporting KBR Supplier Diversity Initiatives
6. Knowledge of ITT/Contract Templates, Preparation and Issue
7. Knowledge of KBR standard General Conditions
8. Preparation of Special Conditions/Flow Downs
9. Preparation of Bonds & Guarantees
10. Commercial & Technical Evaluation and Joint Recommendation
Knowledge of Typically Contracted Services:
1. Site prep, civil, concrete
2. Mechanical - Structural steel, pipe fabrication/erection
3. Electrical & Instrumentation
4. Offsites - Buildings, tanks, dredging, jetties, marine facilities
5. Insulation, fireproofing, coating
Post-Award Contract Administration:
1. Pre-Mobilization Requirements
2. File Creation (electronic & hard copy)
3. Correspondence with Contractors; Technical Writing Skills
4. Leading & Documenting Meetings with Contractors
5. Monitoring Contractor Performance - Key Performance Indicators
6. Audit and Approval of Contractor Invoices
7. Change Management
8. Commercial Reconciliation
9. Claims Management/Dispute Resolution
10. Management Reporting and Forecasting of Contractor Costs
11. Contract Close Out
Knowledge of Contract Pricing Structures:
1. Lump Sum
2. Time and Material
3. Unit Rate
4. Cost Plus (Markup or Fixed Fee)
5. Contractor Incentives
Management / Experience:
1. Personnel Interviewing and Evaluations
2. Management of Large Staff
3. International Experience
4. Job Site Experience
Knowledge of Corporate & Subcontracts Systems:
1. Contract Management System (Post award Contract administration)
2. SAP (Purchase Orders, invoice payment, timesheet)
Skills (Essential):
1. 5 to 15 years’ experience
2. Must have worked on EPC Contracts
3. Good with dealing with the client.
4. Needs to be really energetic and deadline focused.
5. To work in the office most of the working week
